So you can’t go to school (Part 2: Social Science)

by Vielka

Vielka has been teaching and coaching Social Science teachers for over twenty years.  Over that time, she has developed curricula for the classes, including movie and book lists.

While these are not intended to stand alone, you are welcome to use as you like, especially as you’re at home wondering what awesome Social Science you can be doing right about now.

Also, Vielka prioritizes the Diaspora and culturally sustaining pedagogy in her teaching.  You may find that this to be different from what you’re used to doing, which makes this an especially opportune time to use this list.

Also refer to the reading list for more. As always, if you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
